I just got back from a trip to Peru with my oldest daughter, Hadley. She is almost 13, and we traveled with her school’s Spanish program. We visited Machu Picchu, explored ancient Incan sites, and stood in the presence of the Andes Mountains, completely surrounded by something so vast and breathtaking that it stopped me in my tracks more than once.
